The audience can tell this because the face of the main character is covered creating a sense of suspence. The film credits go along with a girl cycling, which signifies the introduction of the main charactere.
Furthermore, the use of colour pink is very effective as the movie is clearly targeted at young teenage girls. Also, the girls who are shown are also wearing different shades of pink which shows that the girls belong together as a group. However it can also signify that pink symbolises girl as innocence and childish. The products which the main character uses are also pink which gives the sense of that the character cares about the way she looks.
