Catch me if you can-Opening titles analysis
This is a memorable and idiosyncratic title sequence to Steven Spielberg's comedy drama thriller Catch Me if You Can (2002). It is a very like a mini-movie which sets up the film that it’s a part of. It starts of with an animated male character entering the screen at the bottom left hand side and moving slowly to the left side. Than female animated passengers arriving, the audience can tell this because areoplanes are in the blue sky. Furthermore, the male animated character enters the area where the passengers exited from. A yellow arrow is pointed towards the male animated charactere naming it Leonardo DiCaprio. This therefore emphasis that the male animated character is the main character in the film the the characters name is well known. Moreover, the title sequence gives a sense of feeling that the movie is going to be more of a thriller movie. The titles give a sense of thiller feel as the colours are dark.

Inspiration
I have watched many horror/ thriller movies, however in the recent years I thought The Ophran was one of the scariest movies because of the special effects such as the flashbacks and the fast editing.

CBBC Hotel Trubble Opening Sequence analysis
At the beginning of the cbbc Hotel Trubble, there is a logo of the cbbc, which is recognisable to young kids and adults. The scene opens with doors opening and a receptionist is introduced. The camara zooms into her, which focuses at her facial expressions. She is talking on the phone with big laughter. Afterwards each character is introduced in different ways which gives unique identity.
There is a use of voice over. The use of voice over is very effective as it cleary introduces each character, which is very effective as the audience will not be confused who which character is.
Panic Room opening sequence analysis
The opening sequence starts of with the production company's name . The production compnay's name is Colombia. Thereofre it is a very well produced movie. The scene of the woman holding the tourch goes on for 30 seconds. Frist there is a sparkling light at 0.03 than it zooms out slowly from up to down to show the whole picture.
Furthermore, followed up the production company's name there a series of tall stylish buildings. This could mean that the movie is something larger than life. The buildings are glass made. Moreover the are more buildings following, suggesting that the movie's location could be in a busy city. Alongside, the huge buildings the title and credits come up in large fonts. This therefore shows that it gives more attention to the credits and titles.
In addition, the background music is quite however it is dramatic, which creates tension. From 0.57 to 1.20 seconds the background music is repetitive; it is increasing in intensity. However, it is also fast and frenetic. From 1.42 to 1.46 seconds, there are female voices to be heard. The audience will want to know who those people are. Than after 1.46 secs those two female artists are introduced. The camara zooms into the busy city and focuses at the two female artists who are walking together.

preliminary task analysis
Preliminary task analysis:
The things that went well in our task were the tracking shot and the reverse shot. These shot went well because we held the camara in a good position and also the shots were taking in a school environment which made it easier as the location was good to take the shot. Another shot which I found was very good was the over the shoulder shot. We did this shot as a tracking shot. In the picture frame was also the opposite character which was well displayed on screen.
The weakness was when we did the face to face shot when the two characters were talking to each other. This was a weakness as the angle that we shot was wrong, this has caused the sound of the voices different. This was were could have more improved.
story board
I personally thought that our group should have done the opeing sequence something like detective, because I like watching movies about investigation. Moreover, I like movies that give tension on what is going to happen to resolve the crime. However, after long discussion within group we have decided that these kind of opening sequence would have taken more time to research on how to create opeing sequence like that.
My story board is about two male inspectores meeting on the airport. One of them (c1) has a suitase in which there is something important. What that is , the audience won't know because that creates tension amongst the audience. At the end C1 gives the suitcase to C2 because he has more auhority.

cleaner opening sequence analysis
The opeing sequence of the cleaner starts of with the films credits, which are medium sized with white fonts. A female artist is waling as the film credits go along with it. This gives a sense of an indrduction to the female artist. It is because the camara is focused on the female artist as she is walking and opening the door. As she opens the door there is a use of reverse shot. This shows the characters movement in more detail. The film credits go along the whole sequence, which gives the sense of the movie is going to go in more depth and the director has given more importance to the credits.
Furthermore, the sound extract starts of mysterious. This gives a sense of a dark feeling as the audience don't know what is going to happen. However, this sound effect could also give a sense of feel that the movie is going to start as it will bring up the attention of the audience. The sound effect also gives a sense of that something abominable is going to happen, as the sound goes more louder. Along the background music, there is a use of voice over. This is very effective as it gives a introductionto the main polt and character. The audience will listen to the voice over as it is very interesting to listen to as the audience will know what the movie is about. Moreover, at 1.37 sec there is pop music played. The genre of the music gives a sense of that the scene is set in moderen time. Although it can also signify, the daily retuine of a cleaner, who is
used to of his working place.
In addition, the use of colour is very well displayed throughout the sequence. The main colour is navy blue and dark, which gives a mysterious look. The colour could have been used because of the content of the movie. The navy blue can also signify the colour of the cleaner as is it his job, this can be compared to the effect to sound.
